We will assist you to find, start and maintain long term employment and provide support once employment has been gained. Using our resources and qualifications, we will help you to break down any barriers you may be facing in finding work to make it easier for you.

Who do we work with?

CIM Employment will be working with people with a disability, injury or illness, who require short term support and intervention. A part of our program we will also provide the same service to people identified as needing extra assistance, for example Indigenous Australians and people from a Non-English Speaking background.

 

Registration Process

Most people will be referred through a Job Capacity Assessment (JCA). This is organised through Centrelink. Another referral may be through a Direct Registration, which occurs when you present yourself to our office wthout a referral through Centrelink/JCA. You must fill out a Direct Registration Form, as well as meeting the eligibility criteria outlined in the DEEWR Direct Regstration Guidelines. For further information, ask to talk to an Employment Consultant.

 

Working with Local Employers

Catalyst Injury Management has up to date knowledge of the local labour market, as this assists in networking with the right employers and training organisations. We use our skills and knowledge to source employers through cold calling and marketing, and are able to offer employers monetary incentives to assist with training and recruitment costs.
